Location: New York City (Hybrid: 2–3 days/week in office)
Compensation: $70,000–$80,000 base salary. $110,000–$130,000 anticipated total compensation. Comprehensive health insurance included.

Position Overview
Northstar is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This is an opportunity to get in early at a fast-moving fintech company. The ideal candidate is results-driven, intellectually curious, and eager to grow their career in financial technology sales.
In this role, you’ll help drive the top of Northstar’s sales funnel by identifying and qualifying potential clients, initiating conversations with hedge fund professionals, and supporting the sales pipeline through consistent follow-up and communication.
Responsibilities
Research and identify target accounts within the hedge fund industry
Develop and execute strategies to engage prospective clients via email, LinkedIn, and phone outreach
Collaborate on marketing and outreach campaigns
Qualifications
2–5 years of professional experience in an SDR or other sales-related role (preferably in financial services)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Comfort speaking with senior finance professionals and learning complex financial and technical topics
Self-starter mindset with a drive to innovate and exceed goals
