GUI Design Specialist

Job Description

Northstar is looking for a mid- to senior-level GUI Design Specialist to lead the design and front-end development of both client-facing and internal applications.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with a small group of software developers and analysts to understand user requirements and translate them into visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces.
Design, prototype, and implement GUIs using WPF, .NET MAUI, and Blazor, ensuring a seamless user experience across various platforms and devices.
Work closely with the development team to integrate GUI designs into the existing C# code base.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
2+ years of professional experience in GUI design with a focus on WPF, .NET MAUI, and Blazor.
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET framework.
Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
Knowledge of design patterns and best practices in UI/UX.
Portfolio showcasing previous work on desktop and multi-platform applications.
Familiarity with financial software or risk analytics is a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
